Bella Poarch was born in the Philippines on February 9 1997 to her natural Filipino parents. She was adopted at the age of three by her maternal grandmother who lived in slums. The parents she adopted are American white man with a military background and her mother is Filipino. Her mother claims that she as well as her brother, who was adopted when an infant, suffered abuse before they joined the military. She and her family moved to Texas in the year thirteen because her father was undergoing bypass surgery. They stayed for a few weeks in San Francisco with her aunt. Her mother says that the physical violence stopped within a couple of months however, she had to endure emotional abuse from her father. Poarch was a member of the United States Navy at age 18. Poarch started her TikTok in April of 2020 which quickly gained traction. Poarch accumulated over 40 million followers within less than 8 months. The video of Millie B's Soph Aspin Send, which became a worldwide hit with Millie B was her greatest achievement. The video became one of the TikTok's most viewed videos. The video was zoomed-in to show her dancing rhythmically, and lip-syncing along to the song became a viral hit. When she joined TikTok the site, she set up her own YouTube account and one on Twitter to increase her fame. Twitter one to maximize her fame. Poarch's fame peaked around December of 2020. It was reported that she attracted the attention of two large professional Esports groups. 100 Thieves and FaZe Clan expressed interest in having her hired as a creator of content under the respective brand names.
