Taylor Joy said the move from Buenos aires to Victoria was tough and she did not study English, hoping to go again to Argentina. Her school had to change from Northlands and then Hill House. She enrolled later at Queen's Gate School in which she took ballet classes and was involved in school-based plays. After dropping out at 16, Taylor-Joy pursued a full-time acting career. Taylor-Joy has always wanted to become an actor. At the age of 16, Sarah Doukas Founder of Storm Management gave her the chance to be a model.
